26.09.16 - Weekly Update

I'm back! Week 2 of media went well I researched colour psychology and what each colour represented for example red being associated with both anger and love which are complete opposites. It was quite good to also understand the effort that goes into creating magazine covers and how the designers create a cover to present a particular visual image to convey to people. So I done this by comparing 2 different school magazines. Last week I done quite a lot so I then found a music video and attempted to identify a variety of different camera angles which allowed me to understand what effect it gives when watching the video. The last thing I done last week was contribute to a mind map full of ideas of magazine topic ideas. This was interesting to do because first I put all of my ideas onto paper and then I found a website called 'Coggle' which allowed me to brainstorm and expand my ideas. So that was all for last week.
