Demographics

So there are 7 different groups of how the demographic breaks the system down into groups job and pay. This allows individuals to define the adult population largely by work, labelling them by using a letter code to describe the income and status.
I was able to understand that the order descends from upper middle class being the top paid down to the population of unemployed individuals receiving benefits based upon the amount they earn.
A - Upper Middle Class (higher managers; Doctors; lawyers)
B - Middle Class (middle managers; teachers)
C1 - Lower Middle Class ( office workers)
C2 - Skilled working class (skilled manual workers; plumbers, builders, electricians)
D - Working Class
E - Unemployed receiving benefits
